Adventure-Based
We believe that kids should live an adventure packed life! We aim to explore the outdoors, try new hobbies, learn new skills, use our brains, hands and feet as much as we can and have fun doing it!
Community-Centered
We don't want to be just another facility that your children attend. Rather, we aim to be a community that you and your family feel apart of! We know that the reality for many families is that kids can't go home after school, so at TNK we want to be your home away from home!

We believe that God has created each of us and our world around us for a unique purpose! At TNK, we explore God's love for us and how He calls us to spread love and kindness to everyone and everything we encounter!
Before School Care:
Our Before School Program seeks to provide care for those needing supervision in the early mornings before school! Each morning we will hang out, do some crafts and play games before heading off to school!

*This program operates according to the published calendar for School District 23. Care will be provided on regular school days, early dismissal days, administrative and professional development days.*

Hours of Operation: 6:30 am - School Drop Off (School Days)
6:30 am - 8:00 am (Non-Instructional Days)
​
Program Fees: $250 per month** (Before School Care Enrollment Only)
$150 per month** (When also enrolled in After School Care)
Occasional Drop In - $10 per day (subject to space availability)

After School Care:
Our After School Program seeks to provide care for kids needing a place to go after school! We play games, get crafty, go on out trips and so much more!

Hours of Operation: School Dismissal - 6:00 pm (School Days)
8:00 am - 6:00 pm (Non-Instructional Days)

Our Programs Rooms!
Here at TNK (The Neighbourhood Kids) we have three unique program rooms tailored to the needs and interests of the age groups within them! We've discovered that working with smaller groups of children fosters a more supportive and focused environment, where each child has greater opportunities to build confidence and develop social skills. With fewer distractions and more individualized attention, behavioral challenges decrease, allowing children to thrive and engage more positively with their peers and surroundings.
Jr. Adventurers:
(Kindergarten & Grade 1)
In this program, young learners explore the world through play, creativity, and social interaction, building essential foundational skills in a fun and nurturing environment.
Adventure Seekers:
(Grades 2 & 3)
Our second group encourages discovery and independence, engaging children in hands-on activities and collaborative projects that promote critical thinking and teamwork.
Adventurers:
(Grades 4 & 5)
Tailored for our older explorers, Adventurers will embark on all the fun of our other programs, while also prioritizing leadership development and empowering children to take initiative and foster collaboration. Adventurers will have opportunities to become big buddies and become Jr. Leaders in the other program rooms from time to time!
